Beautifully done, I'm in the process of building a sleepy hollow tree for Halloween this year... this post inspired me and gave me great ideas... thanks!
"Scare the six kids that show up..." I had to grin at this. The first 3 years in my new rural home produced a total of 4 children knocking on the door at Halloween (one year it was 6 when 2 of them made a return visit). I became a member of the board of my local Park & Rec department and was thrilled to learn that they produced a haunted house ever year. I would suggest you check in to something like that and share your talents.
Tnanks! i have built local aunts in the past but, being in the direct vicinity of Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, there aren't a great deal of local haunts anymore. I've been directed to a company who does props for Halloween events and I'll see how that pans out. However, I actually had more kids show up last year (I guess word gets around). I think final count was 46... not amazing but quite an increase from past years.
Not many kids in our neighborhood, either! So....I've started inviting the adults to come for trick or treat and they come in to see my Halloween villages and decorations and enjoy some good grub, and a scare or two! The tree is wonderful...thanks for sharing
Just Brilliant!
